1. The only thing we charge for
Parkos collects one payment: the bidding pass, paid by a shop for ₹200 covering 30 days of unlimited bidding.
We do not collect payment for the items shops sell. When you buy a phone or any other item through Parkos, you pay the shop directly at their counter. That money never passes through us, which is why it is not ours to refund.
2. The bidding pass is not refundable
Once a pass is activated, it is non-refundable and non-transferable. This applies whether or not the shop places any bids, wins any bids, or receives any requests during the period.
The pass buys access to the platform for a fixed period. It is not a guarantee of requests, bids won, or revenue, and we state that plainly on our pricing page before anyone buys one.
The one exception
If a payment is taken and the pass is not activated because of a technical failure on our side, we refund it in full. Write to contact.parkos@gmail.com with the date and amount, and we will verify it against our records.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–7 working days of approval. The time your bank takes to show it is outside our control.
3. Duplicate and failed payments
- Charged twice for the same pass: the duplicate is refunded in full.
- Money debited but no pass activated: this is usually a payment that failed after the debit. It is normally reversed automatically by your bank within 5–7 working days. If it is not, write to us and we will trace it.
4. Cancelling a pass
There is nothing to cancel, because nothing recurs.
A pass does not auto-renew. There is no mandate, no standing instruction and no card kept on file. When the 30 days end, bidding simply stops and you are not charged again. Buying another pass is a deliberate act each time.
A pass cannot be ended early for a partial refund. If you stop using the platform mid-period, the remaining days lapse.
5. Orders, reservations and items
Reserving an item through Parkos costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund if you change your mind. A reservation you do not collect within 48 hours expires on its own, at no cost to you.
Anything to do with the item itself — returns, exchange, warranty, a fault, or a disagreement about what was handed over — is between you and the shop, under that shop’s own policy and your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The shop is the seller. Parkos is not a party to that sale.
We will still help. If a shop does not honour a quote or refuses to deal with you after a sale, write to us: we keep a record of every quote and handover, we can put the facts in front of both sides, and we can suspend a shop from the platform. What we cannot do is refund money we never received.
6. Cancellation by us
If we suspend or remove a shop for breaking our Terms — misrepresenting an item, refusing to honour quotes, or anything fraudulent — the remaining days on their pass are forfeited and are not refunded.
If we withdraw the service in a location for our own reasons, we refund the unused portion of any active pass on a pro-rata basis.
7. How to raise a refund request
Email contact.parkos@gmail.com from the address registered with your account, including the payment date, the amount, and the transaction reference.
We acknowledge every request within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days. If the outcome does not satisfy you, escalate it to our Grievance Officer on the contact page.
